Literature provides the base for our artistic projects. Math and science are heavily integrated into our daily activities. Some themes we cover are ocean exploration, nature, moon, stars, animals, tracks, and interesting bugs. Themes are dependent upon individual class’s interests. A few of our favorite books are Papa, please get the moon for me by Eric Carle, What Do You Do With A Tail Like This? by Steve Jenkins, and, When A Line Bends A Shape Begins by Rhonda Gowler Greene

Our day includes fostering independence, social and emotional growth, literacy, language development, creativity, science and math activities, as well as, physical development encompassing both gross and fine motor skills. It is impossible to share all the wonderful happenings in our classroom, so please come for a visit. One thing I can tell you is that we have lots and lots of fun!

Please contact Kathy Rywolt (401-246-2342) or director@redbrickschoolri.org if you have any further questions.
